Prom 2010 Fairy Godmother Contest Winner

In Fashion Club's Fairy Godmother Contest, entrants were asked to get creative and write a Fairy Tale for their chance to win a Prom dress and accessories from Windsor! Kristina N. was our Grand Prize Winner, with her beautifully written "Every Other Girl." It melted our hearts. Kristina, we loved being your Fairy Godmother!!

Excerpt from Kristina's Fairy Tale, "Every Other Girl:"

"...Ava took a deep breath and stepped into the gym. As soon as she walked in, people started staring. Ava heard whispers as she walked over to the punch bowl. One of her teammates walked up to her and told her she looked “Hot!” Ava laughed picked up a glass of punch. Out of the corner of her eye she could see Kelsey in her bright yellow dress and Chris in his spiffy suit. He looked so handsome, but they were fighting. “I don’t know why you stand up for her! She’s so weird and her family is so crazy!” Ava could hear Kelsey yelling. “Don’t talk about her like that! She’s an amazing girl and more of a woman then you’ll ever be! Have a nice night Kelsey!” Chris turned away from Kelsey who looked shocked at his words. As Chris walked toward the door, Ava called his name. He slowly turned toward her voice and felt his jaw fall as he took in her appearance..."
