Fashion File - Catwalk
The Dutch Masters created still lifes to display their skill in painting light and textures. We took a page from their book as we put together a banquet of jewels to highlight the amazing talent and designs of four FIDM Alumni (and Tarina Tarantino, as an added bonus!).
Our scenes were painted with jewelry: pearls from the Rafia line, metal mesh à la Bansri Joaillerie, feather hairclips by Isaiah Garza, and semi-precious stones by Vilaiwan. You can find their works of art at the FIDM Museum Shop.
