The choker necklace is a classic and perfect for prom or anytime, really!
Danica Ybanez of WHATDAYMADE takes us through the five easy steps to make this classic choker necklace. All you need is suede or decorated trim, ribbon endings, needle and flat nose pliers, a charm, and glue.
Get started by gathering your supplies.
Step 1: Measure around your neck and subtract 1 inch.
Step 2: Cut trim to measured length. If using braided trim, use tape to keep it from unraveling.
Step 3: Fold trim in half, then glue the charm there in the center. This one is vintage, isn’t it a beauty!
Step 4: Clamp both metal ribbon ends in place using flat nose pliers, then attach one jump ring.
Step 5: Open up the second jump ring and attach clasp and metal ribbon end. Make sure everything is secured and you’re finished!
