This River Dell High School student was one of 10 FC Presidents from the east coast who styled the Tubular look book.
Juliette DeTitta was one of ten Fashion Club Presidents in the New York City area who had the amazing opportunity to work with Adidas this spring to style the Tubular and NMD look book. Hand-picked by Adidas, the FC Presidents were mentored on set by Zanna Roberts Rassi, professional stylist and Senior Fashion Editor at Marie Claire. The look book is available in Adidas stores nationwide. Read on to learn about Juliette’s experience in her own words.
Everyone from Adidas at the shoot was so nice and gave me great advice for the future. It felt empowering to be mentored by such professionals. It was an unexplainable form of confidence. I left there feeling that I could do anything I put my mind to.
Working with Zanna was so amazing. It made me look through a different lens, and realize the process of what makes a great photoshoot. The experience—every minute—was exciting. Seeing your finished look on the model and being pictured was an achieving moment.
The person who would wear my look is a strong confident woman on the go. She knows who she is, and makes no excuses for it.
I have a lot of career goals. I would love to work in TV production and fashion. I am very comfortable in front of the camera, and always hoped to be a professional in TV someday. Zanna Roberts Rassi’s job would be a dream to have too. Getting to style celebs and models for red carpet events and magazines and then report on them for a channel like E! News. That would be awesome.
Being part of Fashion Club is helping me achieve my goals so much this year. It has given me a jumpstart to my career and made me realize so much about myself. It has graced me with a new form of confidence—an empowering I-can-do-this feeling.
