This FC President from The High School of Fashion Industries is one of ten from the east coast who styled the Tubular and NMD look book.
Sasha Green was one of ten Fashion Club Presidents in the New York City area who had the amazing opportunity to work with Adidas this spring to style the Tubular and NMD look book. Hand-picked by Adidas, the FC Presidents were mentored on set by Zanna Roberts Rassi, professional stylist and Senior Fashion Editor at Marie Claire. The look book is available in Adidas stores nationwide. Read on to learn about Sasha’s experience in her own words.
Working with Zanna Roberts Rassi on a professional photo shoot was such a great experience for me. I’ve seen her on TV for years, whether it be on E! News regarding Fashion Week, or even on Project Runway. The advice that she gave me during this experience is something that I will always cherish, and take with me throughout my career.
The person who would wear the looks I styled is a city girl with an edge—a teenager or someone in their early 20’s. She showcases the latest trends and seamlessly highlights Adidas apparel while staying true to herself.
I want to be a successful stylist, or have a career that combines my love for people and fashion—possibly in branding partnerships.
Participating in FIDM Fashion Club is allowing me to network and brush shoulders with great people in the fashion industry. Also it is allowing me to be part of these great experiences which is not only something that I can put on my resume but an opportunity for me to figure out if this is a career that I can see myself doing.
