Stars Celebrate FIDM's The Ruby Red Slipper Collection

It wasn't the Emerald City, but FIDM Museum & Galleries was lit up with tons of star power for the gala opening of The Ruby Red Slipper Collection and Inspirations of Oz Fine Art Collection, two exhibitions that commemorated the 70th Anniversary of The Wizard of Oz.

The Ruby Red Slipper Collection featured reimagined versions of Dorothy's iconic red shoes from 19 of today's top designers, including Jimmy Choo, Roger Vivier, and L.A.M.B. by Gwen Stefani.

Tarina Tarantino recently designed a collection specifically for the celebration of the 70th Anniversary of Warner Bros.’ The Wizard of Oz. The exhibit was held at the FIDM Museum and Gallery in June. Opening night was a star-studded event with celebs including Kristin Cavallari, Debi Mazar, and George Lopez.

Inspirations of Oz Fine Art Collection was a number of interpretive works inspired by the beloved film, The Wizard of Oz.
