My FIDM FashionClub Scholarship Contest
Exclusively for MY FIDM Fashion Club members, this scholarship contest is available for high school seniors and juniors, with two seniors winning $5,000 and one junior winning a full-year scholarship up to $22,000. Seniors have to write an essay based on what they imagine their FIDM Fashion Club will be like in 10 years, and juniors are required to develop the concept for a famous designer’s fashion show.
Seniors Courtney Hamilton and Angela Choe are the 2009 winners of a $5,000 to attend FIDM; there was no winner in the junior category.

Excerpt from Angela’s Essay
“…Ten years later I am proud to say that Curtis Senior High School’s Fashion Club has successfully kept the legacy fire burning. The club has established annual Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter Preview Fashion Shows, a website, and a weekly fashion update show for the school’s video announcements!…”
