What was FIDM’s recent announcement?
FIDM and ASU recently announced the expansion of fashion education at the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at ASU, both here in Los Angeles and in Phoenix. ASU’s fashion program will now be named ASU FIDM.
At the same time, FIDM is moving forward with their Strategic Plan to reimagine the college as a business school for the creative industries. FIDM is in the process of aligning with an international business school that will offer students in our creative business majors (Merchandising & Marketing, Beauty Marketing & Product Development, Digital Marketing, Business Management, and our MBA) the opportunity to study both in the U.S. and internationally.

I am a current FIDM student and I am interested in continuing with FIDM. What will happen to my FIDM Fashion Club Scholarship?
Current FIDM students who continue at FIDM will be eligible to renew their FIDM Fashion Club Scholarship, as long as all eligibility requirements are met. Students must also maintain 12 units quarterly to qualify for scholarship renewal.
FIDM remains focused on student success and is committed to ensuring that students receive our dedicated attention and support throughout this transition. For information on individual degree pathway options available for specific majors/programs, we encourage students to reach out to their Department Chair or their Student Advisor in the Student Success Department (Suite 401, 213-624-1200, extension 5110).
I am a current FIDM student and I am interested in transferring from FIDM to ASU. What will happen to my FIDM Fashion Club Scholarship?
To help make the transition as seamless as possible, ASU will ensure that all current FIDM students who continue at ASU FIDM will pay no more than the total amount they paid in tuition and fees at FIDM in the 2022–2023 academic year.
Because the total cost of attendance is dependent on each student’s individual circumstances, all FIDM students will receive individual advisement regarding their cost of attendance during the transfer process. Learn more about the ASU FIDM Transition For FIDM Students.
