How I’m Staying Inspired: Joselin Esparaza

This FC Pres is focusing on her future.

FIDM Fashion Club President Joselin Esparaza of Coast Union High School in Cambria, California shares how she’s staying inspired during the coronavirus pandemic.

How are you personally staying inspired right now? Most people see these times as a vacation. I like to think otherwise. I get inspired by using this time to look more into entrepreneurship. I stay in contact with my teachers and my friends. I give myself goals to finish throughout the week, month, and even the year. I’ve been looking more into my future and how can I start saving and be able to retire at a somewhat young age.

Do you have any tips for staying connected with fellow members during this challenging time? Nowadays everyone has social media so just sending good morning messages can change everything. I recently sent a message to my friends and made a Zoom call as well. We talked about our school, our goals, what we’re doing, and so much more.

Have you held any virtual FIDM Fashion Club meetings? I recently had a meeting over Zoom and it was a bit challenging to listen to one another, but we were able to figure it out.
